TEXAS LEGENDS SIGN FORWARD MYLES BURNS

FRISCO, TX - The Texas Legends have signed forward Myles Burns from the available player pool.

Burns (6-6, 210), participated in the 2023 NBA Summer League with the Dallas Mavericks, before joining the G League, where he has played for multiple teams this season. Last season, he suited up for Raptors 905, where he contributed 5.0 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.4 steals in 13.8 minutes per contest.

Collegiately, Burns played his senior season at Ole Miss, where he averaged 8.0 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 2.4 steals per game. His 80 steals ranked second all-time for a single season in program history. Before transferring to Ole Miss, Burns had a decorated career at Loyola-New Orleans, where he was a four-time NAIA All-American, finished his career as Loyola’s all-time leader in steals (358) and ranked second in points (1,852) and rebounds (1,069).

Burns will be active for Thursday night’s game against the Rio Grande Valley, wearing No. 9.
