Frisco, TX - The Texas Legends opened the 2025–26 campaign Friday night in Osceola, falling 134–113 to the Magic in a high-paced contest that saw flashes of promise from several new and returning faces.
The Legends showcased offensive rhythm throughout, led by two-way player Miles Kelly, who poured in 25 points and grabbed 6 rebounds, including five three-pointers. Fellow guard Dalano Banton added 18 points, 8 assists, and 5 rebounds, creating offense from all levels. Second-year big man Jamarion Sharp brought physicality in the paint, tallying 10 points, 8 rebounds, and an impressive 5 blocks on the night.
The Magic had standout performances from Colin Castleton, who posted a dominant 26 points and 13 rebounds, and Lester Quinones, who added 22 points, including four triples. Osceola used a strong second half to extend their lead, capitalizing on turnovers and points in transition.
The Legends’ bench unit contributed key minutes, including Sheldon Edwards Jr. with 16 points on four made threes, and Mark Armstrong, who chipped in 14 points and 6 assists in his Texas debut.
