Texas Legends Announce Inaugural Legends Showcase

FRISCO, TX- The Texas Legends are proud to announce their first-ever Legends Showcase, featuring a matchup between Stony Brook University and the Air Force Academy on December 7 at the Comerica Center. This inaugural event will highlight high-caliber collegiate basketball and is set to become an annual tradition.

Located in Stony Brook, New York, Stony Brook University's athletic teams, known as the Seawolves, compete in the Coastal Athletic Association. The Seawolves have a strong tradition of excellence in various sports, with their basketball program consistently showing high performance. Former Stony Brook standouts Jameel Warney and Mouhamadou “Mo” Gueye launched their professional basketball careers with the Texas Legends.

The United States Air Force Academy, located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, is home to the Air Force Falcons. Competing in the Mountain West Conference, the Academy's basketball program has a rich history and is known for its disciplined approach.  The Falcons boast five returners on the roster hailing from the state of Texas, including three starters.

 The Legends Showcase promises to be an unforgettable experience, featuring a thrilling basketball game and a celebration of the sport and its community. Attendees can look forward to engaging activities, fan interactions, and much more. This event offers fans a unique opportunity to deepen their commitment to promoting basketball at all levels.
