TEXAS LEGENDS ACTIVATE EBENEZER DOWUONA AHEAD OF OSCEOLA MATCHUP

Frisco, TX - The Texas Legends today announced the signing of center Ebenezer Dowuona, who will be active for tonight’s game against the Osceola Magic. Dowuona joins the Legends from the available player pool following a roster adjustment that included the release of forward Matthew Cross.

Dowuona (6’10, 235 ), was selected 16th overall in the 2025 NBA G League Draft by Osceola before being claimed by Texas. He played five collegiate seasons across James Madison, Georgia Tech, and NC State. At James Madison last season, he appeared in 28 games, leading the team in blocks while contributing on the glass and in the paint. His sophomore campaign at NC State saw him rank fourth in the ACC in blocks per game (1.74), highlighted by an eight-block performance against Nebraska.

Born in Accra, Ghana, Dowuona played high school basketball at The Heritage School in Georgia, earning All-State honors and back-to-back state titles.

The Legends face the Magic tonight at 6:00PM CT, with the action streaming live on Urban Edge Network (UEN).
