The Legends training camp roster is coming together quickly with the NBA Development League Draft this weekend! As of today, the Legends have five returners from the 2015-16 roster on the training camp list:
Manny Harris (6-5, 185, Guard): Harris played three years at the University of Michigan and was named to All Big-Ten teams every year. In 89 career NBA games, Harris has averaged 6.4 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 1.4 assists. The Legends acquired Harris from the Los Angeles D-Fenders last season in a trade and he averaged 17.2 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 3.0 assists in 10 games with Texas.
Patrick Miller (6-1, 203, Guard): Miller played four years at Tennessee State before heading overseas for a season. Miller was drafted by the Legends last season and averaged 11.5 points, 3.4 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 1.3 steals, and 26.6 minutes in 47 games.
Andre Dawkins (6-4, 206, Guard): Dawkins won a National Championship with Duke in his first of four seasons with the Blue Devils. Last season, Dawkins played 20 games in Italy averaging 9.6 points and 2.4 rebounds in 27.4 minutes before joining the Legends. In 12 games with Texas, Dawkins averaged 15.0 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 1.6 assists and neared the NBA Development League record for threes with 11 in one game putting him and second and third all-time in D-League three-pointers made in a single game.
Satnam Singh (7-2, 290, Center): Singh was drafted by the Dallas Mavericks in the second round (52nd overall) of the 2015 NBA Draft, becoming the first Indian-born player drafted into the NBA. Singh played in 19 games with the Legends last season averaging 1.5 points and 1.5 rebounds.
Deng Deng (6-8, 205, Forward): Deng played 23 games at Baylor University and joined the Legends the following season. In 19 games with Texas, Deng averaged 2.7 points and 4.0 rebounds.
