NO LUCK FOR LEGENDS ON ST. PATRICK’S DAY

WILMINGTON, DE, (Mar. 17, 2023) – The Texas Legends (7-22) fell hard to the Capital City Go-Go (16-13) in a St. Patrick’s Day matchup in D.C.  Grant Riller came off the bench for 25 points in the 91-140 Legends loss.

Texas opened with the first points of the game, but the home team responded with an 11-2 run and had a 14-point lead built up by the first buzzer.  The Go-Go doubled their difference in the second quarter and ran away with the second half. 

Riller hit 9-of-14 on his way to 25 points, 2 assists in 21 minutes.  Justin Jackson finished with 20 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and a block.  Amauri Hardy added 11 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists, and Kalob Ledoux grabbed the final double-digit ending with 10 points. 

Capital City had eight players finish in double-digits led by Quenton Jackson with his first career triple-double of 25 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists.  Devon Dotson neared another with 18 points, 10 rebounds, and 7 assists, and Jules Bernard added 17 points, 8 rebounds.  The Legends return home for their final home game of the 2022-23 season hosting the Oklahoma City Blue Sunday at 3:30pm CT.  A limited number of tickets are still available; for more information call 214-469-0822 or visit www.TexLegends.com.
