Manny Harris Signs With Dallas Mavericks

Earns The 36th Gatorade Call-Up of the 2016-17 NBA D-League Season

The Dallas Mavericks today signed Texas Legends guard Manny Harris for the 36thGATORADE Call-Up of the 2016-17 NBA Development League season.

Harris (6-5, 185, Michigan) appeared in 37 games (36 starts) for the Legends this season averaging 26.3 points, 7.6 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 2.2 steals and leading the D-League in scoring.  Harris went undrafted out of Michigan but signed with the Cleveland Cavaliers and played 54 games contributing 5.9 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.6 assists in 17.3 minutes per game his rookie season.  The Detroit native has three years of NBA experience, averaging 6.4 points, 2.7 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 17.6 minutes in 89 career games with the Cavaliers and Los Angeles Lakers.

Harris played three years for the Wolverines averaging 17.0 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 1.5 steals and earning All-Big Ten honors every year.

Harris will wear #6 with the Mavericks.
