Legends Partner With Promised Land Dairy

The Legends have announced a brand-new partnership with Promised Land Dairy, making the Dallas-based company an Official Dairy Partner of the team.  

Promised Land Dairy is a true Texas legend.  Born on a small farm in Floresville, TX, Promised Land carries over 30 years of traditions and values into every bottle of delicious, indulgent milk.  The company prides itself on local roots, so the partnership with the Legends provides an opportunity to celebrate that locally while giving back to the community.  

“The taste of Promised Land milk speaks for itself,” said Legends President and General Manager Malcolm Farmer.  “It’s the people, though, that make a difference.  Promised Land Dairy has that small-town feel, they care about their employees, their customers, and their community, and they like to have fun!  That culture makes them a perfect fit for the partnership and for our Legends Family.”  

To launch the new partnership, the Legends will host exciting “Promised Land Dairy Slam Dunk Challenges” in early 2021.  Fans will have the chance to win exclusive Promised Land prizes and swag by submitting videos of fun challenges – including their best “dunk” of a cookie into Promised Land Dairy milk.  Details will be released at a later date via the Legends social media.  

When games resume, Promised Land Dairy’s Midnight Chocolate milk will be sold at all concession stands in the Comerica Center at all home games.  Also, in partnership with Tiff’s Treats, Promised Land Dairy will present the “Sweet Treat of the Game” giving a lucky fan cookies and milk to be enjoyed during the game.

Promised Land will host a “Milk Delivery Giveaway” during select games, announcing four winners per game who will each receive a branded cooler filled with a variety of delicious Promised Land milks. In addition, during a weekend game, Promised Land will sponsor an on-court contest where young fans will complete dribbling challenges while balancing milk on their head.    

“This partnership was fun for both of us to put together,” said Farmer.  “And I think it’ll be even more fun for our fans.  Every year we try to evaluate the fan experience and bring new and exciting giveaways and activations that will keep the community engaged.  We’re looking forward to doing that with Promised Land.”
