Legends Partner With North Texas Municipal Water District

By Texas Legends Staff /December 28, 2021

The Texas Legends have announced a new community-centric partnership with the North Texas Municipal Water District.

The North Texas Municipal Water District provides wholesale water, wastewater, and solid waste services to about two million North Texas residents.

“Both of our organizations focus on serving North Texas communities,” said Legends President Malcolm Farmer.  “This partnership is a way for us to continue engaging the community, growing our reach and helping NTMWD to expand the relationships they have with many of the communities they’re a part of.”

NTMWD will have branding at all home games and in email marketing, but the focus of the partnership is on the community, including serving NTMWD’s 13 member cities of their regional water system through basketball clinics and STEM programming.  The Legends will host complimentary programs in each city throughout the year and will increase NTMWD’s member appreciation efforts through in-game hospitality.

“We are excited about the partnership with the Legends because it allows us to grow our water conservation outreach in each of our member cities,” said NTMWD Deputy Director Billy George.  “We look forward to sharing the importance of conserving water with the Legends’ fanbase of all ages and hope all participants make lasting memories with their families.”
