Frisco, TX - The Texas Legends (1–2) secured their first win of the season Tuesday night with a 118–105 victory over the Memphis Hustle (2–1), handing the Hustle their first loss at the Comerica Center.
Dalano Banton led the way for Texas with 29 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists, while Two-Way guard Ryan Nembhard chipped in with a double-double with 26 points and 10 assists in his Legends’ debut. Jamarion Sharp anchored the paint with 18 points, 12 rebounds, and 6 blocks, controlling both ends of the floor.
Memphis was powered by Nate Hinton, who finished with a game-high 29 points and 9 rebounds. Tyler Burton added 26 points and 6 boards, while Jahmai Mashack filled the stat sheet adding 7 points, 8 assists, and 7 rebounds.
The Legends built a 32–24 lead after the first quarter and never looked back, maintaining the edge through all four frames. Zhaire Smith added 16 points and continued to provide reliable scoring and defensive presence.
The win comes after back-to-backs losses against Osceola, as the Legends bounce back in their home opener. Texas will look to carry momentum into their next matchup on the road this Thursday, November 13, against the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, with the game available on MAVS TV, UEN, and KFAA.
