The Texas Legends are proud to announce the Mission of the Month program supported by Central KIA and Coserv.
In its fifth year, Mission of the Month is an outreach program that allows Legends fans to join the team in supporting a number of local non-profits each year. The Legends select a charity partner each month and collect items on their needs list.
“We started Mission of the Month to find another way to give to local charities,” said Legends President Malcolm Farmer. “The program has continued to grow each year, and it’s one of the pillars of our community efforts. We’re incredibly proud to partner with Central KIA and Coserv to elevate the platform and further increase the awareness and resources of these organizations that are caring for our community.”
Each month, fans are invited to donate at any of the Legends’ networking events or at the Legends office. Charities submit the items highest on their needs list that month and the list is sent out to all members prior to each monthly event.
“We’ve worked with both Central KIA and Coserv for years and partnering with the two on this program was a perfect opportunity for all of us. Both organizations are passionate about giving back and this will give us a chance to showcase their efforts and the generous nature of our Legends Family.”
Beginning this month, the Legends will also host an Amazon wish list, updated monthly with each organization’s needs, in order for fans to be able to shop online and ship directly to the Legends offices for donations.
