Legends Host Volunteers of America Texas Night, Presented by ZENO

The Texas Legends boast a 6-2 record going into their next homestand that tips off this Thursday against the Austin Spurs (3-5).  Beyond the matchup, the night will be a special celebration of the Volunteers of America Texas, presented by Zeno Imaging, with custom jerseys representing both organizations.

Volunteers of America Texas is a faith-based service organization dedicated to providing compassionate programs that help people rebuild their lives.  Founded in 1917, the organization serves more than 24,000 people in over 30 communities statewide through hundreds of programs, including housing and healthcare.  Thursday’s game will be a celebration of those giving their time, energy, and resources to better our community.

This is the first time the two in-state rivals have met this season.  Austin’s led by Spurs Two-Way Devontae Cacok averaging 19.8 points, 10.4 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game.  This will be the final homestand of 2021 as the Legends hit the road for games against the Rio Grande Valley Vipers and then enter the Winter Showcase.

All fans in attendance at Thursday’s game will also receive a raffle ticket upon entrance.  One lucky winner will receive four lower bowl tickets to the Jan. 5th Dallas Mavericks game to celebrate Dirk Nowitzki’s jersey retirement.
