LEGENDS FALL IN SOLD-OUT HOME FINALE

FRISCO, TX, (Mar. 19, 2023) – The Texas Legends (7-23) dropped their home finale to the Oklahoma City Blue (11-19) 107-122. 

The teams exchanged leads 26 times before the visitors pulled away late in the third.  A 12-point performance from Jahmi’us Ramsey helped the visitors build a 14-point lead heading into the final quarter.  The Blue took their largest lead of the night (+20) early in the fourth. Texas responded with a 9-2 run but the comeback was cut short. 

AJ Lawson led the Legends with 24 points, 7 rebounds while Lacey James came off the bench for the his first career double-double of 12 points, 10 rebounds, and a team-high 6 assists.  Justin Jackson finished with 17 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assist, and Grant Riller added 14 points, 3 assists. 

Sacha Killeya-Jones, Jahmi-us Ramsey, and Chasson Randle each had 18 points for the Blue and Killeya-Jones added 9 rebounds, 2 blocks.  The Legends finish the 2022-23 season on the road with games in Ontario (Thursday at 9pm CT) and Santa Cruz (Saturday at 9pm CT).  Fans can catch all the action live at www.TexLegends.com and on the Legends Facebook page.
