LEGENDS ANNOUNCE RENEWED PARTNERSHIP WITH INSPECTIR SYSTEMS

FRISCO, TX, (Oct. 6, 2023) - The Texas Legends have announced the renewal of their partnership with InspectIR Systems, a Frisco-based technology company responsible for one of Time Magazine’s 2022 Inventions of the Year. 

InspectIR has been a partner of the Legends since the company’s early days.  Their team, mission, and impact have grown and evolved but their primary focus remains the same: to leave a positive impact on the world around them.  That mission aligns with the Legends’ and allows the two to join their platforms and expand mutual initiatives.

“Our partnership with InspectIR is one that has both direct and indirect impact on the community around us,” said Legends President Malcolm Farmer.  “We get to experience the real-time effects through our charity jersey night partnership while knowing that the circle of influence is far greater and longer lasting than the scope of the game night.”

InspectIR will once again use their jersey night to highlight first responders and veterans with their benefactor Sons of the Flag.  Sons of the Flag has been revolutionizing burn care for more than 10 years, focusing on bettering the quality of life for veterans, first responders, and their families providing resources and social support and funding research and development in burn care technology.  

“We are thrilled to once again shine a light on the heroes working on the front lines of our community,” said InspectIR President/Co-Founder John Redmond.  “We see a lot of gratitude for them at certain times of the year and we want to promote that gratitude year-round.  Our armed forces don’t retreat after military appreciation month is over, so why would we only say thank you on those days?”

InspectIR has been featured in Time Magazine, Yahoo Business, Forbes Magazine, c|net, and Dallas Innovates for their work in portable Covid-19 testing devices.  The breathalyzer test previously used at G League games and NBA events has primarily focused on the Covid-19 results but has scientific implications far beyond it into countless disease and drug tests.
