LEGENDS ANNOUNCE MVPUP PROGRAM ALONGSIDE DALLAS PETS ALIVE!

FRISCO, TX, (Mar. 2, 2024) - The Texas Legends have a new year-round community program benefiting local animals in need of their forever home. In partnership with Dallas Pets Alive! the Legends announce the MVPup of the Month Program.
Each month, the Legends will spotlight a rescue pup currently in foster care with DPA in an effort to find the good boys and girls a new forever home. The pups will be showcased on Legends social media and email marketing as well as in-person events throughout the month.
“We are very excited to extend our community efforts to animals in need,” said Legends President Malcolm Farmer. “Our team consists of a lot of pet owners and lovers, and this was a perfect program to help get our staff and players involved in something they’re truly passionate about.”
The Legends and Dallas Pets Alive! are tipping off the MVPup Program tonight as the team hosts the South Bay Lakers in a 7:30pm game. Fans will meet Alaska, a young, energetic tri-paw’d who doesn’t let anything slow her down.

Found in an embankment in South Dallas by a good samaritan, Alaska had no use in one of her legs. Her amazing DPA foster found her at Dallas Animal Services and brought her home. Alaska is now a young, energetic, tri-paw’d who doesn’t let anything slow her down. Easy on leash, dog friendly, house trained, and crate trained, Alaska loves people and cuddling. She is extremely food motivated, meaning she’s lovable and teachable, and she has done well around children and would make a great addition to a family with kids.
All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise.
