LEGENDS ACQUIRE WARITH ALATISHE IN THREE-TEAM TRADE

FRISCO, TX, (Feb. 12, 2024) - The Texas Legends have acquired forward Warith Alatishe in a three-team trade with the Maine Celtics and Ontario Clippers.  The terms of the trade are as follows:

Maine receives Legends forward Joe Wieskamp, Ontario’s 2024 1^st round draft pick, and the returning player rights to Yudai Baba and Todd Withers (from Texas).  Ontario receives Maine’s 2025 1^st round draft pick and the returning player rights to Grant Riller (from Maine).  Texas receives Alatishe, College Park’s 2025 1^st round draft pick (from Maine), and Maine’s 2025 2^nd round pick. 

Alatishe (6-7, 200, Oregon State) was drafted by the Ontario Clippers with the 14^th overall pick in the 2022 G League Draft.  As a rookie, Alatishe played 39 games (9 starts) averaging 4.8 points, 5.7 rebounds.  The Houston, Texas native has played 27 games this season averaging 5.1 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks in 15.0 minutes per game.
