The Texas Legends have acquired forward Trahson Burrell from the available player pool.
Burrell (6-7, 190, Memphis) spent two seasons at Lee Junior College before transferring to Memphis. In two seasons with the Tigers, Burrell averaged 9.6 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 2.3 assists. The New York native was drafted by the Long Island Nets as a rookie, seeing action in 49 games, averaging 13.1 points, 6.8 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 1.4 steals, and earning a spot in the G League Slam Dunk Contest. The Nets sent Burrell to Memphis last season in a trade, and in 32 games with the Hustle he put up 13.3 points, 8.5 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 1.5 steals in 33.1 minutes per game.
