Legends Acquire Returning Rights To Booker

The Legends have acquired the returning player rights to Askia Booker along with a 2019 2nd round draft pick in a trade with the Delaware Blue Coats.  In return, Texas sends Rashad Vaughn and Texas’ 2019 3rd round draft pick.

Booker (6-1, 170, Colorado) joined the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2018 Summer League, averaging 7.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 3.2 assists in six games.  The Los Angeles native played four years at Colorado, posting 17.2 points, 3.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 1.4 steals as a senior and earning All-Pac 12 2nd Team honors.  Booker has split time between the G League and overseas teams each of the last three seasons.  In 2017-18, he played 19 games with the Northern Arizona Suns before being traded to Delaware.  In 36 games between the two teams, the former Buffalo averaged 15.6 points, 4.0 rebounds, 6.0 assists, and 1.6 steals.  Booker has played 21 games in Spain this season, averaging 8.4 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 2.7 assists in 21.4 minutes per game.
