Legends Acquire Quincy Acy in Trade with Los Angeles

The Texas Legends announced today that they have acquired forward Quincy Acy as well as Los Angeles’ 2017 3rd round draft pick in a trade with the D-Fenders.  In turn, Texas sends the returning player rights to Jamil Wilson and its own 1st round pick in the 2017 NBA D-League Draft.


Acy (6-7, 240, Baylor) was drafted in the 2nd round (37th overall) of the 2012 NBA Draft by the Toronto Raptors.  In 225 career NBA games he has averaged 4.5 points, 3.5 rebounds in 15.1 minutes.  Acy joined the Dallas Mavericks training camp and saw six games of the regular season averaging 2.2 points, 1.3 rebounds in 8.0 minutes per game.  Acy spent four years at Baylor averaging 9.8 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks and earning Big 12 honors every season.
