LEGENDS ACQUIRE LACEY JAMES

FRISCO, TX, (Mar. 6, 2023) – The Texas Legends announced today that they acquired forward Lacey James from the available player pool.

James (6-9, 240, Northern Illinois) played 19 games with the Grand Rapids Gold earlier this season averaging 1.8 points, 2.3 rebounds in 6.6 minutes per game.  The Grand Rapid native played three seasons at Northern Illinois after transferring from Rider University.  As a junior, James averaged 8.1 points, 6.9 rebounds and earned MAC Player of the Week. 

James played overseas as a rookie averaging 12.8 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 1.4 assists in 21 games for the Surrey Scorchers.
