Legends Acquire DeJon Jarreau

The Texas Legends have acquired guard DeJon Jarreau in a trade with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants. In exchange, Texas sends the returning player rights to Kenny Williams and a 2022 first-round NBA G League Draft pick (via Austin).
Jarreau (6-5, 185, Houston) has been with the Indiana Pacers as a two-way player this season. In 10 games with Fort Wayne, Jarreau averaged 9.7 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 4.3 assists. The New Orleans native saw action in 3 preseason games with the Pacers averaging 2.7 points, 1.3 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in 7.4 minutes per game.
The 2021 AAC Defensive Player of the Year and 2019 AAC Sixth Man played three years with the Cougars after transferring from Massachusetts. As a senior, Jarreau averaged career highs of 10.6 points, 5.4 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 1.3 steals.
