Legends Acquire Chris Walker

The Texas Legends have acquired forward Chris Walker from the available player pool.

Walker (6-9, 200, Florida) played two seasons for the Gators averaging 4.7 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks in 31 games as a sophomore.  As a rookie, he joined the Houston Rockets for Summer League and saw action in three preseason games, posting 5.7 points, 5.3 rebounds in 8.3 minutes per game.  Walker was then allocated to the Rio Grande Valley Vipers as an affiliate and played four seasons for the Vipers, helping lead the team to the playoffs every season.

The former McDonald’s All-American was most recently playing with the Iowa Wolves where he averaged 8.2 points, 7.7 rebounds in 16.1 minutes per game across six games.
