Jameel Warney and CJ Williams to Participate in D-League Elite Mini Camp

The NBA Development League has announced the roster for the eighth annual D-League Elite Mini Camp which includes two Texas Legends players along with Head Coach Bob MacKinnon.

Jameel Warney and C.J. Williams will both participate in the two day scouting event in Chicago May 8-9.

The event brings together approximately forty of the D-League’s top performers and places them in front of NBA scouts and front office personnel.

Warney, fresh off his D-League rookie season, will be making his first appearance at the Mini Camp.  Warney finished the season averaging 17.3 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks in 44 games with the Legends.

Williams has played two seasons in the D-League and will be participating in his second Mini Camp.  Seeing time in all 50 games for Texas, Williams finished with averages of 12.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in 29.3 minutes.
