Dakota Mathias was named to the Western Conference Midseason All-NBA G League Team announced earlier today.
Mathias has played in 33 of the Legends’ 34 games this season (all starts) averaging 18.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.1 steals. While shooting 39.7% from outside, Mathias has helped lead the Legends to a 19-15 record, sitting fourth in the Western Conference.
NBA G League coaches, general managers, and players voted on the top performers from the first half of the season from their respective conferences. Eligibility for players to be selected was based on having played in 50 percent of their team’s games through January 28th and being on an active roster. Two-way players and players on assignment from the NBA were also eligible to receive midseason All-NBA G League recognition.
