BULLS’ DOUBLE VISION TAKES DOWN TEXAS

FRISCO, TX, (Mar. 8, 2023) – A trio of Windy City Bulls (13-12) finished with double-doubles to lead the visiting team past the Texas Legends (6-18) 122-110. 

Led by Terry Taylor and former-Legend Carlik Jones, the Bulls had 68 points in the paint to Texas’ 38 and out-rebounded the home team 56-36.  The game opened with a back-and-forth shoot-out for the first two minutes before Windy City pulled away.  The visitors hit a 9-0 run late in the game and ended the first with a 33-24 advantage.  Jones and Taylor combined for 22 in the second and helped lift the Bulls to a double-digit gap they would take into the break.  Justin Jackson had five straight early in the fourth to bring Texas within eight, but the visitors were answering every comeback attempt to hold their lead through the final. 

Tyler Hall led the Legends’ scoring efforts with 23 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists.  Jackson added 18 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists, and Kalob Ledoux and McKinley Wright IV tagged on 16 points each.  Amauri Hardy came off the bench for 13 points, 4 assists, and Norense Odiase grabbed his first double-double of the season with 10 points, 12 rebounds.

Taylor powered the Bulls with 29 points, 14 rebounds while Jones added 24 points, 5 assists, and 3 steals.  Ethan Thompson (20 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assists) and Daniel Oturu (16 points, 12 rebounds) also finished with double-doubles.
