BROWN, LEGENDS ROLL PAST REMIX

PORTLAND, OR, (Mar. 10, 2024) – The Texas Legends (15-12) used a 26-point performance from Greg Brown III to take down the Rip City Remix (14-11) 125-119 Sunday afternoon in Portland.

The teams stayed close through the first half, exchanging leads 10 times with Texas taking the edge 64-60 at the break.  Two minutes into the fourth, the Legends had built their largest lead of the night (+17), but the Remix responded with a 28-9 run to jump back on top.  Tyler Hall had six quick points followed by an emphatic alley oop from Brown to seal the Legends’ advantage. 

Brown led all scorers with 26 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists while Justin Jackson added 21 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists.  Erik Stevenson came off the bench for 16 points, and Olivier-Maxence Prosper added a double-double of 15 points, 10 rebounds, and 2 blocks. 

Taze Moore led the Remix with 23 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals, and George Conditt IV came off the bench for 18 points, 11 rebounds, and 3 assists.  The two teams meet again Tuesday at 8pm CT on the UEN app and urbanedge.network.
