Legends Launch Mission of the Month Program With Legacy Plumbing

By Britney Wynn | July 30, 2018

FRISCO, TX, (July 30, 2018) – The Texas Legends have announced a new partnership with Legacy Plumbing to launch the “Mission of the Month” program. Built on Legacy Plumbing’s current outreach efforts, “Mission of the Month” will serve as a platform for local non-profits to fill current needs.

Beginning in August, the Legends will post a list of needs for that month’s non-profit, and the team will collect donations at each of their Owner’s Club networking events throughout the month.

“Legacy Plumbing has been a valued partner of ours for many years now,” said Legends President/General Manager Malcolm Farmer. “We’ve been promoting them as a business but we’re excited to finally give our fans and the community a glimpse at all they’re doing behind the scenes. Michelle and Theron [Young] have built their company on their own philosophies of caring for those in need, and this can be seen in all that they do both within the company and in their interactions outside. Mission of the Month is a way for us to spotlight their company’s mission and get the Legends family involved.”

Legacy Plumbing is a family owned and operated business that has been serving the North Dallas area for over 20 years. The company is built firmly on integrity and takes pride in establishing deep roots in the communities they serve. Beyond the Mission of the Month, Legacy Plumbing gives of time and resources to several local, national, and international causes. Employees select an organization they’re passionate about to be recipients of giving efforts, and the company partners with missions such as The Water Project on a regular basis, working towards water conservation efforts and providing for the less fortunate world-wide.

“The Legacy Team is thrilled to partner with the Legends for another season,” said Legacy Plumbing Owner Michelle Young. “Utilizing our company as a platform for giving back has always been a core value for us and we are so thankful to be able to work with a like-minded organization to compound our efforts.”

August’s Mission of the Month will be a school supply drive for the Title 1 campuses of Frisco ISD. For the list of items each month, visit TexLegends.com/missionofthemonth. For more information on Legacy Plumbing and their community outreach efforts visit www.LegacyPlumbing.net.
