MISSISSAUGA, ON (Dec. 13, 2017) –The Texas Legends (7-9) came up short in Ontario Wednesday night, falling to the Raptors 905 (5-9) 100-111. The same was true for individual players on either side of the court as Kyle Collinsworth and Kaza Keane each found themselves one short in a category to complete a triple-double.

Collinsworth grabbed the first points of the night for Texas before Bruno Caboclo answered from beyond the arc to regain the lead for the 905 and the back-and-forth began. After six lead changes, Texas found themselves holding the advantage at the first buzzer. The home team shot 52% in the second compared to Texas’ 42% but the visitors held onto their lead through most of the quarter and went into the locker room up four.

The home team’s hot shooting continued in the third and they opened the new half with a 14-2 run on the way to their first double-digit lead. Texas streaked through eight points in the final three minutes to cut the deficit to one heading into the fourth. After averaging 44% in the first three, the 905 held Texas to 24% shooting in the final quarter, outscoring them 27-17 to take the sole season matchup.

Collinsworth finished one assist short of a triple-double for the second straight game, adding 17 points and 10 rebounds while Jameel Warney led the Legends’ scoring efforts with 22 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 blocks. Brandon Ashley tallied 18 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 blocks while Portland Trailblazers’ Two-Way player Wade Baldwin IV made his debut with the Legends adding 12 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists off the bench.

Keane followed in Collinsworth’s footsteps falling one rebound short of a triple-double for the 905 with 13 points, 15 assists while Bruno Caboclo led in points (24) and rebounds (10).
